What are Today’s Treat Co’s treats?

Great question! Our treats are a lot of things – delicious, plant-based, sustainable, no-sacrifices – but to put it simply we are a dog treat that is better for our pets, our planet, and all the big and little creatures we share it with. Our treats are a perfect combination of fruits and vegetables, infused with completely natural and simple foods that give them drool-worthy flavor. We never use anything artificial, from animals, or that we wouldn’t eat ourselves – check the ingredient lists!

What is Today’s Treat Co. mission?

We believe treats are essential to showing endearing love for our dogs. We can rub their ears, pat their bellies, tell them they’re the “goodest doggo”, but let’s be honest, nothing says I love you quite like a treat does! We also know how important it is to cherish and nurture mother nature so future generations of all species/creatures can enjoy her beauty as we have today. That’s why we strive to make it a no-brainer for pet parents to choose sustainable, plant-based treats for their dogs because who wouldn’t want delicious, flavor-infused treats while lowering your carbon pawprint!

What is Today’s Treat Co. doing today for the environment?

To start, our plant based treats are much friendlier to our environment than meat alternatives with 99% lower carbon emissions, 85% less water consumption and 93% less land requirements. We don’t stop there! We seek to minimize our environmental impact in every step of our process. While we aren’t perfect, we are committed to that journey! We use 100% wind power to make our treats. Our packaging is 100% recyclable through in-store drop off programs – the same bin you can drop other soft plastics! And we strive to make continuous enhancements across our operation while maintaining the high quality products that our customers have learned to expect. We have a lot more to do, and we look forward to improving ourselves and making our pawprint(s) on the industry  – so help us start Today!

Can my dog eat plants?

Plant-based treats are a delicious, sustainable, cruelty-free swap to their meat-based alternatives. The great thing about treating is the 1-on-1 bond it builds with your dog, which is purely supplemental! Your dog gets a balanced diet through their daily meals, and plants are naturally hypoallergenic and easily digestible! Unlike some other treat products, we never use corn, wheat, soy or other byproducts –we keep it all-natural, which is good for your dog and the planet! 

How do I recycle the package?

We are so glad you asked! Our packaging is fully recyclable via store drop-off with other soft plastics. Almost all grocery stores and home-improvement stores offer collection – Today’s recycling is tomorrow’s decking, furniture, and new packaging! If you aren’t collecting your soft plastics for recycling, there is no time to start like TODAY! You can learn more and find a drop here [https://how2recycle.info/sdo]. While the packaging industry has a long way to go, we have partnered with an industry leader and intend to lead the ‘pack’ in sustainable packaging!

Where are your products made?

We make all of our treats in the USA from globally sourced ingredients. We get our ingredients right from the source, which means our bananas come from Thailand and our mangos come from Mexico – because that’s where mother nature grows them best! Everything else, including our kitchen, is in the USA. We carry a human-grade Food Handlers Certification!

What are the ideal storage conditions? 

We recommend storing in a cool, dry place to maximize product freshness. 

SHIPPING + PAYMENTS

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

We ship out orders Monday-Friday, within 1 to 2 business days for orders placed before 6PM PST. Once your order ships out, you will receive an email containing the tracking information. 

How much do you charge for shipping?

We offer free shipping on orders of $35 or more. For orders less than $35, we offer standard shipping for $3.

What is your return policy?

While we hope you love our products, our goal is that you are 100% satisfied. Sometimes dogs can get a bit confused and may not adjust to plant-based treats. If you or your fury best friend aren’t completely satisfied, we offer full refunds for first time customers. Please contact us within 30 days of receiving your item via email at bark@todaystreatco.com.

Additionally, through our mission to minimize waste, we would greatly appreciate you donating any unwanted & unopened packages to your local dog shelter.
